These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the ETA Amsterdam website, newsletter, community platform, digital content, and all online or offline activities operated by dourovista, a brand of Wakonda Ventures B.V., Keizersgracht 520, 1017 EK Amsterdam. The Netherlands.

By accessing our website or using any of our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or participate in the community.

2. Purpose of the Platform

ETA Amsterdam offers educational content, community access, networking opportunities, and resources for individuals interested in Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), small business ownership, and the acquisition of SMEs.

The information provided on this website, at events, in workshops, newsletters, or within the member platform is for educational and informational purposes only.
It is not intended to be, and must not be taken as, investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

You are solely responsible for your actions, decisions, and due diligence.

3. Eligibility and Membership

To participate in ETA Amsterdam, you must:

• be at least 18 years of age
• have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

Membership may be offered without charge during the founding phase; however, this does not guarantee perpetual free access. Additional member tiers, paid options, or restricted-access features may be introduced in the future.

We reserve the right to decline or terminate membership at our discretion, particularly in cases of misconduct, spam, aggressive solicitation, or breach of community standards.

4. Community Code of Conduct

ETA Amsterdam is built on trust, discretion, and respect. Members agree to conduct themselves professionally in all interactions.

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

• Unsolicited sales pitches, fundraising requests, or aggressive deal solicitation
• Sharing confidential information without permission
• Harassment, discrimination, defamatory remarks, or inappropriate conduct
• Misrepresentation of experience or credentials
• Any act intended to disrupt, exploit, or damage the community or its reputation

We reserve the right to remove any member who violates these principles without prior notice.

5. No Financial, Legal, or Investment Advice

ETA Amsterdam, dourovista, and Wakonda Ventures B.V.:

• are not investment advisers, legal advisers, brokers, or accountants
• do not provide deal analysis, due diligence, or negotiation services
• do not match acquirers with businesses, sellers, or investors

Any actions you take based on the information provided are entirely at your own risk.
Always seek independent professional advice before making business or investment decisions.

6. Events, Recording, and Use of Media

By attending any ETA Amsterdam event (online or in person), you agree that:

• events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded
• your image, voice, or comments may appear in recordings
• such recordings may be used for educational or promotional purposes

If you do not wish to be recorded, please inform us in advance and refrain from appearing on camera or microphone.

7. Intellectual Property

All content made available by ETA Amsterdam, including but not limited to articles, frameworks, videos, presentations, documents, digital downloads, and community material, is protected by copyright and owned by Wakonda Ventures B.V. unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, or use our material for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Limited personal use is permitted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ETA Amsterdam, dourovista, and Wakonda Ventures B.V. shall not be liable for:

• loss of profits, opportunity, or expected savings
• business interruption
• indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• decisions or actions taken based on any content provided

Your use of the website and participation in events is entirely at your own risk.
